Financially successful people:

• Are intentional with their financial goals.

• Spend time financially educating themselves, even if they use other advisers.

• Treat their finances like a business - you may not need to work in it, but you keep an eye on it at all times, turn up or drive past regularly and just generally keep your finger on the pulse.

It might only take 10-20 minutes a week, but they think about where they are financially heading and what they are doing.
